I’ve seen many reviews about the iphone. Notes about people waiting in line for an iphone. And yes I’ve had talks with Apple Employees who are drooling over the iphone and can’t wait to officially get them. But I’ll be one of those people who just nod their head at Letterman’s Comment:
Me? iPhone? Nah. My cell phone still has a rotary dial. Plus, I’m waiting for the iPhone nano.

Its an amazing phone, and knowing Apple I’m sure it really is as elegant and cool as all the reviewers think. But the fact that its Cingular only makes it a forget it in my mind. Cingular is terrible around the North Bay, and I’m sorry but Verizon is much, much better. I can understand Sprint and t-mobile losing customers but Verizon really does have an awesome network around here (NOTE: I’m a customer only, and don’t work for them). I’ve been told by employee friends to wait for next generation versions… and that “yes the iphone itself won’t be sold at Verizon.” So I’ll be patient let the first batch of possibly bug prone phones go out, and wait for the newer different version to arrive at Verizon.
