…I know how hard it is to reach you so I am posting this here in case you come by. I’m just worried about you, because your at an age– that is hard to handle for a young person. Believe me– I was there once myself. I was about your age when I had a serious bout with depression. Luckily with the help of friends and family I made it through. Just knowing your at an age that’s easily susceptible to depression is part of the battle. Watching out for the signs and doing something about it is the rest.Here are some things I want you to remember:

My son is six and I’ve already had to give permission for the school to teach some minor sex education. (Diseases and such) And as he grows I know I’m going to have to continue battling what the school teach, what society is teaching… verses what is right. And truthfully at this age I know I can imagine having to post in my blog, in the hopes that my son will run across it and read it. But I know how teenagers are. Sometimes they don’t want to go to their parents, there are topics they don’t want to talk about. And at the same time its hard for the parent to go hold up, I know this. Trust me, and hope they do.
A friend from gaming was wanting to reach his daughter. And the points where besides personal. They where common sense. And you expect your kid to get them, but sometimes they don’t. And at the same time, its also good for them to read them he put a lot of thought into this post, that I’m sure as a father I wouldn’t just blurt out.

I now wish I would have put in the part about marijuana and how it kills brain cells, (and short term memory), but I forgot. Oh well. All you can do is hope for the best for them.
