Thanks ImageshackNo matter what Lamborghini execs say about the company’s plans, or lack thereof, to build a new SUV, the Photoshop artistes will inevitably keep on with their pasty selves. If it does exist some day, the successor to the LM002 “Rambo” Lambo likely won’t be quite as batshit insane as the original V12-powered, Shiek-baiting supertruck. In fact, most think it’ll be based on the Porsche Cayenne/Audi Q7/VW Touareg platform, though powered by a V10 and designed to look much more like the Gallardo. Something, perhaps, like this rendering of a prospective Lagartijo LM005 by Italian artist Andrea Rosati, featured in InfoMotori. Lagartijo, for the Spanish-challenged, means both “lizard” and, in Mexico, a “sharp dresser,” a construction that’s pitch perfect for a Lambo SUV. Then again, maybe we’re better off not knowing.

OK, I though the Porsche Cayenne was a little out there. An overly expensive Cross over vehicle that looks designed to go much faster then would be safe. But here come a Lambo designed SUV. A Cross Over with the unique Lambo style, but definately a Cross-over vehicle. Actually pretty sexy but I some how don’t see the wife letting me drop 2 or 3 large ones to buy one. Let alone that would almost buy a small house here in Napa… ok a decent down payment.

  1. So… this car isn’t even in development, yet you are saying it’s going to cost $200,000 - 300,000. How did you come by this number?

  2. I looked at the current cost of a Lambo (150,000 or so) and added int eh fact that this would be a 4 door monster that they would probably be making via the same process as their others. Plus they wouldn’t want to under-price it.

And yes I know it’s not really coming out, but they have made… pokes into this market.
