I do a lot of gaming, and hang with that crowd online… As such chatting with them in IRC has caused my writting to become shortened… and in some cases I will think of retorts that just make no sense in the real world, such as:
lol = Lots of laughs - I think this quite often but I can’t imagine saying it.
rofl = Rolling on the floor laughing - If I seriously was rolling on the floor laughing my coworkers would make quick calls to Napa State Hospital
omgomghi2u = oh my god, oh my god, hi to you - This one I think I have the hardest one not saying. But then again it’d really sound gay
wtf = What the F—- (explitive or not) - That and the next one I say in my mind all the time. Pretty much every few minutes as I’m bombarded by comments and situations that leave me wondering
wth - What the He– (expiltive or not) - more of a curious what in the world are they thinking comment
omgomgwtfbbq!!!1111oneone - oh my god, oh my god, what the f— barbeque Explination until finger gets tired and then smart aleck spelling it out - No idea where this comes from, but I have to say that this one somes up at the weirdest times and leaves many usually chuckling.
teh = the - I’d almost always say typo… but it happens ALL THE TIME.
No idea what led me to define all this… probably the fact a comments form at my wife’s work left me with the second to last one being written out (which looks VERY lame).
